Voice Announcements allow you to send personalized voice call messages to your guests via phone calls. Instead of WhatsApp messages, guests receive an actual phone call with your recorded message.

π How to Create and Send Voice Announcements
Step 1: Create Voice Announcement
Navigate to Announcements in your Weddingkart app
Click Voice Announcement or Create Voice Call
Select your wedding
Enter a name for the announcement (e.g., "RSVP Reminder Call")
Step 2: Upload Voice Recording
Click Upload Recording
Select an MP3 file from your device
Wait for upload to complete
Verify the recording:
File Name - Confirm correct file
Duration - Check call length (automatically calculated)
File Size - Ensure upload completed
Recording Requirements:
Format: MP3 only
Quality: Clear audio recommended
Duration: Typically 30-120 seconds (longer calls cost more)
Content: Speak clearly and at moderate pace
Step 3: Select Recipients
Choose who will receive the voice call:
Option 1: Groups
Select one or more guest groups
Or choose "Send to All Guests"
Option 2: Individuals
Select specific guest IDs
Best for targeted messages
Step 4: Calculate Cost (Optional)
Before sending, preview the cost:
Click Calculate Cost
Enter estimated call duration (if different from recording)
Review:
Total Cost - Total amount in INR
Cost Breakdown - Per-phone cost
Guest Count - Number of recipients
Price per Minute - Rate for each phone number
Cost Factors:
Call Duration - Longer calls cost more
Phone Number Location - International calls cost more

View Status
Open your voice announcement
Click View Status or Call Status

No Answer - Call was not answered
In Progress - Currently ringing or connecting
Queued - Waiting to be initiated
