An announcement in Weddingkart means that a WhatsApp message will be sent individually to multiple guests. This is not a WhatsApp group message or a broadcast list that you may be familiar with.

  • Each guest will receive the message as a personal WhatsApp message, making it more direct and engaging.

  • Replies from guests will come as individual responses to the sender.

  • Announcements ensure that each guest sees the message directly without it getting lost in a group chat.

A template is a pre-approved message format that ensures consistency, compliance, and quick messaging.

  • Weddingkart has created a library of ready-made templates for different types of announcements (e.g., RSVP requests, Save the Date, Event Updates, Travel Info).

  • Every time you create an announcement, you must choose an existing template.

  • If you need a custom message that is not available in the existing templates, you can request a new template from the Weddingkart team. Once approved, it will be available for use.
