Managing guest identity verification is seamless with Weddingkart’s ID Card Collection feature. This allows event managers to request, collect, and organize ID cards from guests securely. The collected ID cards can then be forwarded to hotel reception for seamless check-ins.
1️⃣ Create an ID Collection Announcement
Navigate to the Announcements section in the Weddingkart app.
Click Create Announcement and select the category ID Collection.
Choose the guests or groups to whom you want to send the request.
Click Send, and a WhatsApp message will be sent to the selected guests.
2️⃣ Guests Upload Their IDs via WhatsApp
Each guest receives a WhatsApp message with a request to upload their ID.
Guests can securely upload their Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or other valid ID documents directly in WhatsApp.
📂 Accessing Uploaded IDs
Currently, you cannot view the collected ID cards directly in the app.
To access uploaded ID cards, you need to sync the Google Sheet where all collected IDs are stored.
✅ Export ID Card Data
Click on the Sync button to export all collected IDs to a Google Sheet.
Share the Google Sheet with your security or verification team.
Forward the collected ID cards to the hotel reception for hassle-free check-ins.
🚀 Resend ID Collection Request
If some guests haven’t uploaded their ID, you can resend the announcement to everyone, asking them to upload their ID cards if they haven't already.
Soon, we will introduce an option to send reminders only to guests who have not uploaded their ID cards, and these reminder announcements will be sent automatically.
To share the collected ID cards with the hotel reception, simply provide them with the Google Sheet link where ID cards are stored.
The Google Sheet keeps updating automatically as more guests upload their ID cards.
Hotel staff can access the latest IDs in real time, making the check-in process seamless.
Ensure that the hotel staff has the correct permissions to view the Google Sheet.
ID card collection is optional, but it helps verify guest identities and streamline hotel check-ins.
All uploads are stored securely and can be accessed only through the synced Google Sheet.
If a guest uploads the wrong document, they can re-upload a correct one.
Request ID cards early to avoid last-minute verifications.
Use the ID Collection announcement category to ensure guests receive a structured request.
Regularly sync the Google Sheet to access the latest uploaded IDs.
Use reminders to ensure all guests complete their ID submission.
Share collected IDs with hotel reception in advance to prevent check-in delays.
