1. Core Wedding Pack
Purpose: Essential announcements for any wedding
Best For: Standard weddings, first-time users, simple communication needs

🚀 How to Use Announcement Packs
Step 1: Browse Available Packs
Navigate to Announcements in your Weddingkart app
Click Announcement Packs or Browse Packs
View available packs with:
Pack title and description
Number of announcements included
Purpose and use cases
Recommended badge (if applicable)
Step 2: Preview Pack Details
Click on a pack to see details
Review:
Pack Overview - Purpose and description
Announcement List - All announcements in the pack
Timing Information - Suggested send dates
Template Preview - Example content for each
Step 3: Preview Pack Items
Before adding to your wedding, preview what will be created:
Click Preview Pack on the pack details page
Select your wedding
Optionally select specific items to preview (or preview all)
Review:
Message Previews - How each announcement will look
Suggested Timing - Recommended send dates
Template Information - Which templates will be used
Variable Placeholders - What needs to be filled in
Step 4: Add Pack to Wedding
Click Add to Wedding or Use This Pack
Select your wedding
Choose Items (optional):
Select specific announcements to add
Or add all announcements from the pack
Click Add Pack
What Happens:
Announcements are created in draft state
Templates are selected automatically
Variables are pre-filled with example values
Suggested timing is set based on your wedding date
You can edit everything before sending
Step 5: Customize and Send
After adding the pack:
Review Announcements - Go through each created announcement
Edit Variables - Fill in actual wedding details
Adjust Timing - Use suggested dates or customize
Add Attachments - Include images, documents, or videos
Schedule or Send - Schedule for later or send immediately

Display Name - User-friendly name (e.g., "Save the Date")
One-Line Purpose - Brief description
Timeline Phase - before_wedding, during_wedding, or after_wedding
Timing Label - Human-readable timing (e.g., "60 days before")
Template Information
Template Name - Which Weddingkart template to use
Snapshot Values - Example variable values from real weddings
Variable Mapping - How to fill template variables
Timing Information
Suggested Offset Days - Days relative to wedding date
Negative = before wedding (e.g., -60 = 60 days before)
Positive = after wedding (e.g., 7 = 7 days after)
Suggested Send Time - Calculated based on your wedding date

When adding a pack, you can choose:
Add All Items
Creates all announcements from the pack
Best for comprehensive coverage
You can delete unwanted ones later
Select Specific Items
Choose only the announcements you need
Best for custom workflows
Saves time by not creating unused announcements
Selection Tips:
Review pack contents before selecting
Consider your wedding timeline
Don't skip important announcements (RSVP, save the date)
You can always add more later
🔄 Managing Pack Announcements
After adding a pack:
View Created Announcements
Go to Announcements for your wedding
See all announcements created from packs
Pack announcements are marked or grouped together
Edit Announcements
Open any announcement from the pack
Edit variables, timing, or content
Add attachments or change templates
Customize to match your wedding
Delete Unwanted Announcements
Open an announcement you don't need
Click Delete
Confirm deletion
Note: Deleting pack announcements doesn't affect the pack itself. You can add the pack again later if needed.
Add More from Pack
If you added only some items initially:
Go back to the pack
Click Add to Wedding again
Select the items you didn't add before
Add them to your wedding

Use Core Wedding Pack if:

Review and edit all variable values

Send without reviewing content

Combining Packs
You can:

Pack announcements are created in draft state
You must review and customize before sending

If a template is missing, that announcement won't be created
Contact support if templates are unavailable
